This group photograph was the first London’s Black Fae Day Picnic at Hyde Park, hosted and organised by friends. On this beautiful day, we were discussing ideas for the group picture, hence the low branch from the tree. I challenged myself to go up but struggled. However, when my friends assisted me by taking the image on my camera, as well as helping me get up and down the branch safely, I felt accepted. I did minor adjustments in post production leaving the majority of the image untouched to feel natural. 

I would like to describe the medium-term ‘photography’, which is painting with light, thus an art of observation. I want my photograph to demonstrate diversity, the practice of including people from a range of different backgrounds. I wanted to attend to improve the quality of my photography and improve my social etiquette and interaction with other artists. This is a celebration and the uprising of Black Fae Day, where people can connect and express their love for fantasy.
